May dribbles - 22

Alice wondered why a dog was in church.
“It’s a service dog,” said Mom.
Alice wondered if that meant first service or second, but Mom said “It’s a dog that helps people.”
Next week Alice brought her “service” teddy to church. It helped her sleep, arms wrapped in snuggly fur.
